This is the hexagon version of my never-ending-blanket square. You can make it with as few or as many rounds needed and join them together.
Chain 6 and join to form loop
RD 1: ch 3 (counts as dc) 1 dc, *ch 2, 2 dc* 5 times, ch2 and join should have 6 groups of 2 dc
RD 2: ch 3, dc in each dc, in each ch 2 sp *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc* join
RD 3 : ch3, dc in each dc, in each ch 2 sp *1 dc, ch2, 1dc*
You can add rows by repeating Rd 3

This is so cute i think I will try it for a baby blanket for my neice
I am having a problem with the hexagon granny...when making it bigger, have to add stitches? My brain must be on empty...lol thanks
Mary
Mary, if you just keep repeating in pattern ie; dc in every dc and 2dc ch2 2dc in every corner the stitches are added when you make the corner

My problem is that that the hexagon is ruffling when I put '2dc 2ch 2dc' in every corner. When I changed to '1dc 2ch 1dc' it doesn't ruffle. What am I doing wrong?
Maybe nothing, I'm going to check it out again, I never did anymore than three rounds myself. If your way works for you keep doing it.
So nice to be doing something other that granny squares for blankets, I'm halfway through making these into a baby blanket for my friend.
