With an 'H' hook and WW yarn, it would be a nice super warm sweater for a newborn in a cold region (Caron 1 pound yarn would be a good WW yarn for babies since it's much softer than Red Heart).

Anonymous, WW yarn also works up well with a 'J' hook and you could likely use them to make a 3-6 mos size without any changes to the pattern itself. Or you could double up baby yarn with a 'J' hook, which would be a little bulky but much softer than WW yarn.Sarahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256512416041763992.post-48460838722431996172013-05-17T10:26:46.467-05:002013-05-17T10:26:46.467-05:00Yes you can link to any of my patterns.Yes you can link to any of my patterns.Deb Upcycleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11668448757320046000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256512416041763992.post-63824211397123480312012-12-28T06:10:49.859-06:002012-12-28T06:10:49.859-06:00i tried this pattern but not getting it. I used Red Heart yarn (since we are on a budget... and Red Heart stuff holds up REALLY well in the washer) It may not be as soft as if using baby yarn, but will work over a onesie without being too itchy :) SUPER CUTE! Will be making another for my little one. Thanks so much for sharing!!
