My Linus group lets us know in advance a month or so where the blankets will go. This would be great for CASA. Found that after making the 3 row circle (either back loop only or both loops) (and I begin w/a magic circle) I attach a different color yarn, chain 3 then do a double crochet in the same stitch, chain 2, repeat in the same stitch, then dc, hdc, sc x4, hdc, then make the corner and repeat all the way around, ending w/the first made corner. Slip stitch and chain 3, etc.... much neater square. <br />a "triple yoyo" is what the person who posted this is calling the circle,,, some call it a "ball" "yoyo" "circle" ... all means the same thing. circle in a square... hope this helps.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256512416041763992.post-55642652805133904762013-06-27T10:22:48.326-05:002013-06-27T10:22:48.326-05:00Thank you so much for posting this pattern! I had another pattern I was trying and didn't like the way is was shaping up so I started searching again. I came across your pattern. I LOVE it. It is so easy and quick to work up. I just bought the yarn yesterday, began the other blanket, pulled that back out and started using your pattern. I already have all 24 circles made and I'm working on the squares now. It looks like there should be one in that last stitch before the end but there's not, that's actually part of the first stitch. Just count your stitches on the last row until you get used to what it should look like.Deb Upcycleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11668448757320046000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1256512416041763992.post-10081560487683513452012-08-31T00:02:50.720-05:002012-08-31T00:02:50.720-05:00I have a question/problem. It's always on the side where I join, then chain to begin the next round. It seems like I am ending up having 2 "posts" where I should only have one at the join spot. Not sure if I am explaining this correctly. I am pretty sure round 6, if done correctly, should have 18 posts between corner spaces. Can you post (or point me to) a detailed instruction (with photos or video) on what exactly the join and beginning of the next row looks like for rounds 4 - 6?
